SPA-0111 & SPA 0112

Earth Source Hydrogen has been granted Special Prospecting Authority SPA-0111 in Western Australia, a further milestone that advances our natural hydrogen exploration programme. Earth Source Hydrogen had been previously granted SPA-0112, also in Western Australia. Both SPAs are held 100% by ESH and gives us the exclusive right to apply for an exploration permit within the area, subject to favourable results from our technical work. The focus is to establish natural hydrogen prospectivity through disciplined, science-led screening that aligns with our low-impact commitments and supports Australia's emerging natural hydrogen sector.

The CSIRO led focused water-sampling campaign across at least 20 existing bores and water wells in SPA-0112,was completed in April and a similar campaign for SPA-0111 will commence in early June. Laboratory analysis of the dissolved elements in these samples will inform subsurface processes and indicate whether the licence area shows natural hydrogen potential. The programme has been designed for zero impact on landholders and the local environment, keeping disturbance minimal while building the dataset needed to guide any future exploration permit application.
